Our friendly advisors are on hand to help you improve your employment skills, discover new career paths and signpost you to support. We can help you consider your options, make an action plan and support you in achieving your goals.
Camberley & District Job Club is a volunteer run organisation offering support and advice for those who are looking to find work. We meet on Mondays at High Cross Church, Knoll Road, Camberley from 10 to 12.30.
DI’s holistic approach can help clients to develop their prevocational skills, help navigate a pathway toward voluntary work, work experience or paid employment. This may include participation in educational and learning sessions, developing social or improving IT skills. We help clients to recognise their capabilities, build on abilities and transfer skills into new opportunities.
DI works collaboratively with many organisations including the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) services and Surrey Welfare Rights Unit to support clients with benefits or financial issues.
The Youth Hub service will include initial advice and guidance, coaching/ mentoring support, access to training courses, together with opportunities for professional development and employer engagement. The service will facilitate onward positive destinations for young people (18 -24) into training and/ or employment in the locality.
