HLTA – KS2 (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Sutton Location: Sutton, London Role: HLTA – KS1 & KS2 Pay Rate: £115 – £130 per day (dependent on experience) Job Description A supportive primary school in Sutton is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role involves leading lessons, supporting teachers, and delivering targeted interventions to help pupils achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes. Lead small-group interventions to raise attainment and accelerate progress. Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of learning resources. Provide feedback on pupil progress and attainment to teaching staff. Requirements: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience. Experience working within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Strong behaviour management skills. Confidence in leading whole-class learning sessions. A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning. Why Reed?
