Nurture Teacher – SEN Secondary School (Primary Model) | ASAP Start We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Nurture Teacher to join a supportive Secondary SEN school that follows a primary-style model. Start: ASAP Full-time position Supportive SEN environment This unique role involves teaching a small Year 8/9 nurture class, working at an academic level typically aligned with Year 4/5 progress and assessment. Teaching responsibilities include: English Maths Humanities Food Technology Other core subjects Facilitating PE (not leading or teaching PE sessions) Science is not required We are ideally looking for someone with: Primary teaching experience (strongly preferred) Experience working within an SEN setting A nurturing, flexible teaching approach Confidence delivering a broad curriculum across multiple subjects This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to students who benefit from structure, consistency, and a relational approach to learning.
