Electrical Estimator

I am recruiting on behalf of our client, who are looking to strengthen their team and are currently recruiting for two experienced Electrical Estimators. Please find an overview of the opportunity below: Position: Electrical Estimator Location: Gatwick Employment: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate The Role Client is seeking two experienced and motivated Electrical Estimators to join its growing team. The successful candidates will play a key role in producing accurate, competitive tenders across a range of commercial and industrial electrical projects while working closely with the operational teams to support the continued growth of the business. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions. * Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation. * Carry out quantity take-offs and cost analysis. * Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations. * Identify value engineering opportunities where appropriate. * Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers throughout the tender process. * Support project handovers to the delivery teams. * Produce RAMS for project handover. * Maintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation. Candidate Requirements * Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator. * Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * Experience using estimating software is desirable. * Full UK driving licence preferred.
