Dawn Redpath is the Director for Economy and Growth at Surrey County Council, leading Business Surrey, the county’s primary business interface with 110,000 Surrey businesses.
With over two decades of experience in economic development, Dawn has driven innovative growth strategies, secured millions in funding, and built impactful partnerships to foster sustainable economic growth and support Surrey’s business continuity.
Since joining Surrey County Council in 2020, Dawn has overseen the expansion of the Economy & Growth team from three to more than 90. Under her leadership, last year more than £31 million a year of funding has been leveraged to drive growth across the whole of Surrey. The county-wide economic ecosystem includes business growth services and workforce and employment support.
