Disability Initiative

DI’s holistic approach can help clients to develop their prevocational skills, help navigate a pathway toward voluntary work, work experience or paid employment. This may include participation in educational and learning sessions, developing social or improving IT skills. We help clients to recognise their capabilities, build on abilities and transfer skills into new opportunities.

DI works collaboratively with many organisations including the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) services and Surrey Welfare Rights Unit to support clients with benefits or financial issues.

Elmbridge and Runnymede Youth Hub

The Youth Hub service will include initial advice and guidance, coaching/ mentoring support, access to training courses, together with opportunities for professional development and employer engagement. The service will facilitate onward positive destinations for young people (18 -24) into training and/ or employment in the locality.
