Teaching Assistant – Woking Full-time | Term-time only | Immediate or ASAP start We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and high-achieving primary/secondary school in Woking . This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support to teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning. Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning and encourage progress. Support pupils with additional learning needs, helping to create a positive and nurturing environment. Assist with classroom preparation, resource creation, and general administrative tasks. Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, safe and supportive learning atmosphere. Supervise pupils during break times, transitions, and school activities as needed. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children (school, tutoring, childcare, youth work, etc.). A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to use initiative and follow guidance from teaching staff. A genuine interest in education and supporting pupil development. A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a new check.
