Job Summary: As a PR Account Executive, you will be instrumental in crafting and disseminating compelling narratives across multiple media platforms to elevate client presence and reach. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients, media, and industry contacts effectively. Key Responsibilities: Develop and write technical press releases, news stories, articles, case studies, and product pieces. Proactively pitch press releases and feature ideas to national, regional, and trade journalists across print, broadcast, and online platforms. Research and identify media opportunities for clients. Manage the end-to-end process of press release distribution, including building media lists using the agency’s database system. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, journalists, and industry contacts. Coordinate interviews and meetings with key journalists and plan events within specified constraints. Represent clients at events and industry conferences, including international travel. Manage clients’ social media accounts and participate in client advertising campaigns. Engage in client meetings and maintain accurate workload tracking documents. Collaborate with the team on the production of marketing collateral. Ensure timely completion of timesheets. Job Requirements: Education: Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, Communication, or Media Studies. Experience: 6 months to 1 year in PR/Marketing, preferably within a PR agency. Skills: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Proficient in copywriting, with strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and various social media platforms. Strong communication skills for effective storytelling and client reporting. Excellent telephone manner with the ability to engage and persuade. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Desirable: Knowledge of additional languages such as French, Italian, Spanish, or German is an asset but not essential.
