FP&A Manager

Kenneth Brian Associates is working with a rapidly growing company in this newly created role to recruit a FP&A Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As the FP&A Manager you will partner with operations, sales, and external stakeholders to ensure robust financial and commercial management of high-value, long-term projects. The main responsibilities the position entails are: Financial Planning & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process across departments Own and continuously improve the budget and forecast model Develop scenario modelling and long-term planning (3–5 year outlook) Challenge assumptions to ensure robust and realistic projections Management Reporting & Analysis Deliver monthly performance reporting with clear insights and commentary Analyse variances (budget vs actual vs forecast) and identify trends Provide actionable recommendations to improve performance Develop KPI dashboards and enhance reporting capability Financial Modelling Build and maintain robust financial models (e.g. investment appraisals, ROI analysis) Support M&A or capital investment analysis where applicable Deliver scenario analysis to inform strategic decision-making Process Improvement Improve existing planning and reporting processes Enhance use of systems, automation, and data tools Requirements: ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification Strong FP&A / commercial finance experience Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to communicate financial insight clearly to non-financial stakeholders
