Credit Controller Location: Epsom Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract About the Role Our client, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of high-value accounts within a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and collect debt across major business accounts Take ownership of a defined portfolio, ensuring payments are made to agreed terms. Administer credit control procedures in line with company policies. Review and prioritise ledger debt daily, ensuring timely resolution. Complete departmental processes including workflow, cashflow, and month-end analysis. Collect manual Direct Debits and act promptly on any rejected payments. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Identify accounts for escalation and propose appropriate actions. Collaborate with other departments to resolve queries quickly and accurately. Provide cover for colleagues across ledgers during absences. What We’re Looking For Experience: Minimum 2 years in credit control or a similar role. Skills: Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
