Administration Assistant Location: Reigate, Surrey (Office-based) – onsite parking Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm Salary: Up to £26,000 (dependent on experience) Our client is a well-established and growing residential developer, is seeking an organised and proactive Production Administration Assistant to join their team at their Reigate head office. This is a varied and busy administrative role supporting the Production (Build & Commercial) teams , with an additional support function to Accounts . The position would suit a detail-oriented administrator with strong communication skills and an interest in financial and commercial processes within a construction environment. The Role Working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of commercial and financial processes. Accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential in this office-based position. Key Responsibilities Processing subcontractor invoices, payment applications, and material invoices Resolving queries relating to payments and applications Supporting the commercial team with data entry, financial records, and reporting Managing contra charges and resolving discrepancies Maintaining accurate paper and electronic filing systems for each build site Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and commercial documentation Answering telephone calls and managing email correspondence professionally Photocopying, scanning, and distributing documentation Maintaining office supplies and ordering stationery as required Supporting colleagues across departments with ad hoc administrative tasks Ensuring confidentiality and accuracy at all times Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in an administrative role (construction or property experience advantageous) Experience using COINS or similar accounting software preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Excellent organisational and time management skills Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes What’s on Offer Stable, full-time, office-based role Supportive and professional working environment Opportunity to develop commercial and financial administration experience Long-term career prospects within a growing business Holidays would start at 22 days plus bank holidays, rising one day per year to a maximum of 25 days.
