If you are looking for a way to kick start your career then this course is for you. WorkStart gives you the opportunity to gain work experience and qualifications. You will be able to work one-to-one with Job Coaches to get you on track to achieving your ambitions.

Oxted and District Job Club

The Job Club was established about 4 years ago and aims to support any unemployed adult person with the right to work in the UK who seeks help in securing a job. Support is given by one of our several trained volunteers through, typically, one to one digital meetings. Support given can range from establising career goals to highlighting the best ways to find a job (company websites, networking , recruiters etc) to application completion to interview practice to choosing the right job.

AS Mentoring

At ASM we partner with, and empower, neurodivergent people in employment, and in finding work. We work with neurodivergent adults, employers, organisations and charities, offering a strengths-based, holistic approach when working together. We offer a range of services for both individuals and employers, including 1:1 services, training and consultancy, and group events.

Disability Initiative

DI’s holistic approach can help clients to develop their prevocational skills, help navigate a pathway toward voluntary work, work experience or paid employment. This may include participation in educational and learning sessions, developing social or improving IT skills. We help clients to recognise their capabilities, build on abilities and transfer skills into new opportunities.

DI works collaboratively with many organisations including the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) services and Surrey Welfare Rights Unit to support clients with benefits or financial issues.
